POWER OF YOUR DREAM PART 1

Genesis 37

A dream holds the promise of what is possible for the dreamer and his word. A dream is a projection of a reality/possible outcome/possible future.

Divinely inspired dreams are divine projections that are given to inspire hope, stir up faith and causes the dreamer to forge on when they are supposed to quit.

When God shows a man a vision about his life, it is a way of God saying that the things happening to you are not coincidental. God will not give a man an inspired dream of the process but an inspired dream of the outcome of the process. There are divinely inspired dream that are so fixed and can not be changed, they can only be adapted to.

With regards to vision, God gives men these dreams to help them understand the plans and purposes for their lives. In the pursuit of a divinely inspired dream, there are things and people the dreamer will encounter:

1. The Offended. These are folks who believe that you have no right to have a dream and that even if you have a dream, it shouldn't be superior to theirs. They are angered by your dream.

2. The Pretenders. You need the Spirit of discernment to fish these set of persons out.

3. The Archives. These set of people have no divinely pursuit, no relevance in the scheme of things. They only become relevant by attacking you through your history. They have a record of every ugly event that has happened in your life. They believe there are promotions, favors, access you do not deserve because of your history. Ezra 4: 7-21

4. The Spectators. They are always on the sidelines.

*Dreams can give you consciousness.
