But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10 vs 33.

This is different from when Jesus told Peter that peter would deny Him.

The first is about contradicting and rejecting Jesus as the Christ.

If a man dies rejecting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, if he dies rejecting the Holy Spirit, there is no returning from that. The man damns himself forever beyond the reach of God's saving hand.

This kind of denial would cause Jesus Christ to also deny the man; to reject this Gospel of Christ that has the power to save any living man.

This is the sin against the Holy Spirit for which there is no forgiveness, for a man to die rejecting Jesus Christ.

But if a man denies Jesus Christ today, and realizes tomorrow his foolishness, if the man confesses Jesus as the very Christ, confessing Him as his Savior and Lord, that man shall be saved.

It is written "with the heart man believes unto righteousness, with the mouth confession is made unto salvation....if you shall confess the Lord Jesus Christ(with your mouth) that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved(emphasis added)".

For their is no sin so grievous that a man might commit that Jesus by his death on the cross didn't deal with and provided forgiveness for.

But to cowardly deny Jesus as the very Christ, to refuse to confess Him as your Savior and Lord, and to die doing this is without forgiveness.

Selah!
