THE POWER OF GODLY INSTRUCTIONS
The difference between Jacob and Esau was their response to instructions. We see Jacob an opportunist and Esau a careless man. Genesis 28:1-7 In all of Jacob's vices, one trait stood out, his response to instructions. We see in Jacob a man who valued the intangibles. Esau was a man who did according to how he pleased. He was a man who despised instructions. He never sought for instructions neither did he love it.
By instruction, destiny is unveiled and destiny is preserved. Those who despise instructions never last. You are a product of the person you listen to.
All the blessings Jacob received, he received in the place of obedience to instructions.
Never contend the instructions of those placed over your head except the instruction contradicts the will of God. Everything in the world has the ability to receive instruction.
The farther you walk with God, the more deliberate you should be about instructions.
There is no simple or complex instruction; an instruction is an instruction. If you are not open to instruction/correction, it will be difficult to go far in life. Corrections will preserve your time and life.
When God wants to protect or preserve your life, He will give you His word and in His word is correction, chastisement and instructions.
Anytime you listen to teachings and sermon, you should be looking out for instructions. The place of fellowship is the place of instruction.
