Gifts and Character!

Alexander had a strong charismatic influence over his followers and all who encountered him.

Jesus had an influence born of character with those who had encounters with him.

Today Alexander has no influence whatsoever over any one. 

Not too long after he died, his Generals turned on his children, killed them, fought against and divided his empire among themselves.

Alexander the Great is lost in the rabble of history, all we now have are stories.

No one follows Alexander today.

But we see Jesus' influence growing ever strong; today, there are more than 2 billion Christians all over the world and the numbers keep increasing.

Charisma is great, but whatever is built on Charisma alone will crumble eventually.

But whatever that is patiently built on Character remains.

Character will outlive and outlast charisma(gifts).

This is the reason why any Ministry or movement born of Gifts alone soon loses its glory and disappears when the founder or leader dies.

Gifts are greatly needed but make sure you build on Rocks(character).
