Followership predated the man Jesus. Followership is the general principle of creation for the making of a man into anything.

Any man who would not follow can not be made tangible.

A Christian is one who follows/imitates Christ. How well you follow will determine how well you are made. You have to be intentional/deliberate about your following.

Anyone who follows and is deliberate in his following commits to the one he is following and is called a disciple. Also anyone who doesn't follow anyone and is not committed to anyone is called a mob.

A disciple is one who is a student(learner).

Followership is not complete without service. II Kings 3: 11 "But Jehoshaphat said, is there not here a prophet of the Lord, that we may enquire of the Lord by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah."

The mob will scatter when the truth gets deeper. The mob can not tarry when the vision tarries; the mob has no allegiance to loyalty.
