LEAPING OVER GATES

Gates serve to give order with regards to how people access a place. Gates are barriers installed for restrictions and for access. Gate means to keep someone from something. Gates are also used to control persons. When we speak of gates, we speak of access, barriers, passages and openings.

There are various types of gates; there are gates in the mind of men called strongholds. There are gates over cities, nations, individuals.

Broadly, we have physical and spiritual gates. Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." KJV

*The first type of Spiritual gate we see in the Bible is the gate of darkness. 

*The gate of sin. This gate denies a man access into the fullness of God. Every man who is not born again is subject to these first two gates. 

*The flaming sword gate is another spiritual gate. Genesis 3: 23,24 "Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." KJV

This is the Goodnews, the moment you are born again, the gate of the flaming sword opens up to you.

*The red sea gate is the the gate that many never conquer in their life. It is what stops them from embracing the love and resurrection of Christ. All you  need to do when you get to the red sea is to go in. 

*The gate of Jericho. Those who never access the gate of the red sea by faith can not experience the joy of having victory over Jericho. Once you have gone through the red sea, all other gates will fall down flat before you. The red sea is not a barrier for the redeemed, it is a pathway. The Jericho gate is one you can not take by human ability. The gate of Jericho represents all the oppositions and problems we will face in life physically, spiritually and materially.

Every gate has its own instructions.  Gates have voices and speak. Men can be gates.

How to deal with gates

*Prayer and fasting. When you commit yourself to the service of Elohim, there are gates that will open for you.

*Thanksgiving and Praises

*The word of God in your mouth (prophecy). Prophecy is finding God's will and professing it.

*Meditation on the word.

*Service to God. The only key that opens the gates of honor is service to God.

You must have a confrontational spirit; no coward can take Jericho or leap over any gate.
