Power is not the most important for a leader. Authority is.
It is not that power is not important, it is.
While power is the ability to do, authority is the legal right to do; the right to use and direct power.
Many leaders know power, but they know so little about authority.
Authority is mastery of potential which is latent power.
A person who has mastered a craft becomes an Authority in that field.
