There are two types of Familiarity, one is good and the other is distasteful, especially when relating with a person or people above you.

Undue familiarity is that which can cause a person to be temporarily or perpetually angry or offended at those appointed to feed, serve, and lead him or her.

Familiarity is a blessing, a sweet privilege that one should take good advantage of and enjoy, especially with regards to edification and advancement.

But "Undue Familiarity" is taking that which is a privilege and abusing it out of a sense of entitlement.

Undue Familiarity is so dangerous it can dry up an ocean of affection, revoke favor, and deny access once granted without merit.

Undue Familiarity can ruin intimate relationships, business relationships, bring about demotion, and ruin a man's chance at enjoying the good of the land.

The price of Undue familiarity is so high that no one who has sense will want to pay it.

It is a child of pride, and a subtle weapon of the Enemy to deprive and frustrate the Redeemed.

It can cause a man to repeat class over and again while others are advancing in the purpose and counsel of God.

In relating with leaders, especially in the household of Faith, we should be meek and careful in the way we relate with leaders placed over us in Christ.

Selah!
