There are many who have internally given up on prayer.

They still pray, but only as a ritual, an idea.

To them prayer is not effective or affecting. Prayer has disappointed them, they therefore no longer believe in it.

But, there are two things that prayer does; it either affects the situation or changes you.

The latter is usually true. When we begin to pray, something begins to happen to us.

Why?

The moment we begin to pray, we initiated direct contact with the Almighty Father, we are immediately in His presence.

One great thing that is notable about God's presence is that it changes the man who comes in contact with it.

We came praying for our situations to change or disappear but He the Father saw an opportunity to great to miss; an opportunity for our metamorphosis in Christ.

He expects that we will keep praying, and that by the time our situations have been affected, we ourselves are no longer the same.

We have metamophosed!

Prayer changes things. Yes!

Much more, it changes us.

Glory!
