There are 1.4 billion flashes of lightening in the world per year.
Scripture tells us in Psalms 34 vs 5: they looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
The word for lightened in the above, is derived from a Greek word 'Astrapto' which means to 'flash forth, to lighten'.
It can be likened to a sudden burst of light, an illumination of the recreated human spirit.
Back to the opening statement.
This means that for every moment of the Christian's life, for every choice and decision he or she has to make, there is more than enough revelation waiting to break forth to him.
We are children of light.
We should not be found groping around in darkness.
