Submitting to God is more than a mental disposition that the Believer in Christ takes.

Submitting to God means submitting to the authority of God's word both written and unwritten.

There are many who are trying to resist the Devil without having fully submitted to God's word as absolute authority.

God's word proceeds out of God, it reveals His nature, character, plans, purpose, desires and counsel bringing us His wisdom, wealth, and all that God is.

A man who has not submitted to the authority of God's word is not yet submitted to God.

...submit to God, resist the devil...he will flee.

We dig into the Word, yielding to the word; we stay there.

And from this position we can effectively resist the Devil and he will flee.

Jesus is the Word of God.
