We should never judge a man's ministry by how many of his friends and extended family are with him.

How many of Jesus's childhood friends were mentioned to have been with Him in His ministry when He walked the earth?

The answer is none!

Jesus Himself said "a prophet is without honor except in his hometown and among his kinsmen(family).

At some point they even thought and believed that Jesus had lost it.

Even Mary His mother did not understand what was going on with Jesus Christ and sided with the brothers, until at the feet of the Cross when Jesus Christ told Mary "Mother behold your son, son behold your mother." 

It was a matter of God's Kingdom.

But the testimony is that they believed on Him when He died, ressurrected, and ascended before their very eyes.

Yet Jesus said "blessed are they which have not seen but do believe".

Never judge the authenticity of God's servant by the response of those closest to him or her.
